Safe place of work today keeps me busy and occupied.. Still juggling with restless feelings but have to begin to start liking myself again.. This site helps and I suppose as I always say you have to get things wrong before you get them right will be my thought for a while.. The addictive side to gambling is consuming and so sad to think of how many people are affected by this.. But for today work will steer me through to Friday.. Take it easy allÂ
Hi Boo radley, Hope the day has been good for you and your in a good place. Staying occupied seems to be the best way to beat the urges. Keep going
So am i ... The real world has kicked in for me . because i don't drive, and i was tonight hosting a quiz for a friend ,7 miles from home ,  i spent £35 quid on two taxis . and it broke my heart ,ate into my profits . but two weeks ago i would have spent that  [ £35 ] in two minutes . Plus my quiz was in a pub with machines , but i did not for one second consider , gambling . keep going , if you get urges . do anything . buy food. run  away , but do not for one second gamble again , as you will have broken the bond with your addiction and your recovery . and it will be back to square one , and that could be days weeks , months , years , or never . You can never, ever gamble again . We are sadly addicts . so we simply cannot do it .Â
Strong reinforcements.. ThanksÂ
