Monday, gambled, won.
Tuesday, gambled, broke even.
Wednesday, gambled, lost.
Thursday, gambled, got into debt, lost relationship.
Friday, sought help,
Saturday, found help, unhelpful, continued gambling, this time heavier.
Sunday, abstained, feel depressed, hopeless, nothing to live for, but hey it's Monday tomorrow.
Monday, didn’t gamble, felt ok
Tuesday, didn’t gamble, felt rubbish, went swimming training...Sought help by speaking to people, didn’t really help much, still couldn’t sleep because I was so upset
Wednesday, didn’t gamble, still felt bad...Sought help by going to a meeting & came out feeling hopeful
Thursday, didn’t gamble, went for a run, felt great & didn’t have to crawl into bed the second I walked in the door
Friday, today, I haven’t gambled so far, feel OK, will probably go to GA tonight
Saturday, plan not to gamble, hopefully will feel good but if not I will speak to people, find a meeting, come on here, call the helpline if I need to
Sunday, hopefully more of the same with a hopefully not too shoddy home cooked roast.
Beyond that I will try not to worry about until closer to the time!
Monday's child keeps off the slots and doesn't have a bet
Tuesday's child has realised it doesn't do to fret
Wednesday's child stays off the fobts and takes the spouse to dinner
Thursday's child is gamble free so surely is a winner
Friday's child avoids the dogs and galloping horses too
Saturdays child with family enjoys a treat or two
And the child that's born on sabbath day can laugh, dance and sing regardless of the challenges that life can sometimes bring.
Affected by gambling?
