Hi anyone and everyone.
Today is day 13 since I last gambled. Since I last lost a few hundred on roulette. Since I realised I needed to part with this disease.
Of course I’ve had thoughts about gambling, but I’ve not had an urge yet. Mainly down to no money and no access to any anymore.
Allen Carr’s ‘The easy way to stop gambling’ book has come through the post today. I’m going to start on it the second I stop writing this. Awaiting my first face to face counselling also. I feel so much better already and the anxiety/depression has relaxed slightly.
Baby steps but I’m ready to start my life, 8 weeks off age 26.

13 days is fantastic Liam and at 26 you got your whole life ahead of you. Im sure youll finish this journey and achieve great things totally free from this wretched addiction.
