Well folks -thanks for reading this. I hope it brings some help, understanding, insight -whatever it is that makes you read it. I guess i should start at the beginning.

I heard about a great way to make some additional income in 2004 using a system to play Blackjack online. a year alter I was bankrupt and spent the next 5 years unabvle to get any form of credit.

I went 6 years gamble free then had a blip. I lost £2k -which luckily I could afford -and then went to Gamcare for some counselling. I thought I was ok.

Then in December 2014 I tried my hand again. Just a little £500 to see if my system would work this time. It didn't. I sit here now having lost my life savings and £8k in debt due to gambling. I thought I might lose my wife, but she stuck by me. So now we are rebuilding. I have it in hand to be out of this hole in 2 years.

Gambling is only good for those who control it

Too true! I am now on day 15 without gambling. I had my first counselling session at Gamcare yesterday. Things are looking up!
