Hi, glad your keeping in good spirits. I went to watch my grandson sportsday. Sat and watched all the other kids all morning, his was the very last race!!! he came third so he was chuffed. When my daughter went to school there they had this idea that every child should win, noone lost, and although it was nice everyone got a medal, it didnt instill any challenges, so I am glad they have gone back to the traditional way.

thats right joy those days really are special. went to school fete after school today the school really put in some effort. had a bit of will hardening yesterday , a friend of mine ive known for 25 yrs said to me over a pintand i quote... 'no disrespect john but you'll never give it up , you love it too much' ...well even tho' he has a point he is wrong. cheers and all the best john

well not much to report, off to school sports day son not entered but middle daughter in 100 metres and long jump she's good but scatty so could go either way but she knows i just want her to enjoy. their school is great so there will be a lot of effort. the youngest has hers thurs. gambling not been a prob apart from saying to people i dont want to hear about your bets i dont bet etc . still make a point of growling at the bookies but a thought just crossed my mind.. i havent let the non gambling man in my head beat up the little b****r that makes me gamble . think i'll let him have it later all the best john.

well that was a nice morning . my scatty daughter was almost as pleased as me when she ran across to me and the missus with her silver medal from the long jump, think the exitement got to her a bit cos she was dissapointed with her 100m performance , not me tho i thought she was great. got rest of the day of , some light diy then a bit of ps2 i think ahhhhhhhh relax. cheers john

well another payday approaches , got a couple of quid in my pocket and not been near an atm !! a suporvisor tried to take a liberty with me at work last night and although im known for holding my own, i ripped him down from his perch beautifully even for me whilst laughing at him!(now to prepare for the backlash if he has the guts) think a bit more of the cobwebs of my mind are clearing !!All the best john.
