hurt anyone mate , as joy rightly said heat does the old temper no favours but im a pussycat most of the time. been to the bank and back as its payday and havin a bet not even close to my thoughts so its really looking good here bit surprised really but really think this place is the difference. all the best and thanks joy aj carol-ann helen and everyone else this is a lifechanging experience all the best john

im bloody knackered !! wife and kids at mum in laws so i got my dad round to help me with a bit of laminated flooring. with the rushing around ate nothing so with the heat and hard graft got so tired i was bloody shakin!! stopped short of finishing and took dad to the pub and bought him a few an had a bit of grub. while he was round he nipped out and out his bets on and watched the racing, now he knows the score with me and suppose some would think it a bit insensitive but he sees its not gonna happen and has faith i aint gonna slip up so i suppose i should be pleased he has faith. i can honestly say i wasnt in the slightest bit interested i looked around at a couple of the finishes but with no interest other tan wanted dad to win (he didnt) but all the chat on the subject went straight over my head well pleased , i forgive myself the one slip i had a couple of weeks ago cos there were extreme circumstances so am happy with my progress all the best and thanks to you all and gamcare john

good on you for getting to the stage where you know that you are in control of your own destany and thoughts.

its great that you can forgive yourself the slip, often they can sit at the back of your mind gently smoldering and simmering.

letting go of those memories is a positive step forward, and look how much it has helped to bring you that bit further forward

thankyou carol-ann your pretty bloody fantastic yourself!!but im really just saying how i feel. as ive mentioned before a couple of years ago i went 100 and a couple of days not betting but i always in the back of my mind knew the story wasnt over and the cycle would be restored . dont think counting the days helped somehow it almost worked as an excuse IE ive done well so i prove i can stop so i dont need to stop , the thing is thats just how we DO have this crazy sense of justifying our crippling habit . not this time im not counting exept for 3 1/2 years when my debts will be paid and 5yrs when my youngest leaves school and i can escape from my job and find something fullfilling . but as for now just bought my beers and some grub so gonna get hammered and eat some b*m burning hot chilli and play on the ps2 Ahhhhhhh heaven I AM AN EX GAMBLER AND IT FEELS BLOODY GREAT!!!! all the best everyone john.

no probs kim stalk a will!!!nah your a real careing person thats why your here. bored with ps2 am enjoying the beer, chilli is working its way south and im feeling 20 feet tall. been having a real poo year but still feel ok strangely. am at the moment thinking a couple of weeks in advance , i m going to florida with the family on 5 aug , not really a traveller , my idea of a holiday is either clacton for a week with the kids or in front of the tele or reading for a week. but the lovely wife really wants to go so last year i bought a 2 week timeshare slot( cost a bloody fortune) and gonna go this year only then its 4 the wife and kids.shes desparately low at the moment so i will do my best to enjoy , but the reasons for me to HAVE to go have been a bit on the heavy side . luckily im the way i am so can handle heavy poo . sorry if this post in itself is a bit heavy duty but despite the poo still feel like a giant . all the best john.

Hi John, glad your chilling out. I have to say I am not keen on the rides in Florida themeparks but got great enjoyment(heart in mouth) watching my girls when they were younger. I get sick just going up a ladder!!!

And a place to take them is Wet & Wild, go after 2 pm and it is half price!! they will love it.

I had my head superimposed on the body of one of the Babewatch girls (a picture of course). When we got home, my daughters boyfriend saw it and said "my god your mum was hot when she was younger!!)heheh never told him truth.

Once you have been to Florida you will want to go back, so many things to do, great service,clean and everyone so friendly.

Glad you werent tempted by your dad having a bet. We have chosen to not gamble but we have to respect that others still will. And there will always be occasions when we are going to be in that environment, so good on you for showing how strong you can be.
