Thanks seano, London bloke, curly and winning post. It's been a busy few days so I'll catch up on some diaries tomorrow. I've just watched the darts...I actually shouted at the tv when Lewis hit the 9 darter....I even shocked myself doing that.....what made it even better was that I didn't even have a bet on it! I also heard that one punter placed 55k on Anderson during the match. I guess we may hear from the person on these pages in the next few days.

I have been reading the continuing debate about recovered versus recovering. I think it's a load of total horses@it. As long as we don't gamble...who cares what we call ourselves. If a legend of gamcare decides to close his diary as a result it will be a great shame.

Anyway....be positive and stay gamble free

In response to the whole recovered/in recovery debate, I think we should generate some new terms/categories to help us without putting ourselves down. How about:

1) In recovery Red

2) In recovery Amber

3) In recovery Green

4) Training

5) Learning

6) Recovering Red

7) Recovering Amber

8) Recovered

A classic 8 step programme.

I could do with something to make running more interesting. I find it really boring to be honest. I tend to just keep to the same route and use the stopwatch on my mobile to clock my time.

I hope you manage to attain that 4 handicap. Did you finish last season at 5? I'm back playing winter league on Saturday morning as long as the snow stays away. Looking forward to getting back into it.

What's going on with the blues mate? I've never been so fed up with them as i am right now. I think Moyes has lost the plot to be honest. His negativity is getting beyond the joke. A defeat at home to Spurs tomorrow and a cup defeat at Scunthorpe and he may fall on his sword?

Great performance last night from the blues! I think i cried that one home with all my moaning!

You are dead right about Moyes. It would be madness to get rid of him. He can be infuriating sometimes. First time this season we went with 2 strikers last night and what a difference it made!

I was looking forward to a bit of golf this weekend but the snow is coming back apparently! I'll keep my fingers crossed that it misses my local club.

I've no doubt you are still firmly on the gamble-free path.

Hey but well done on the Spurs result ,could be a springboard to your season,although you seem to have no trouble beating the top teams.Still things arent all bad m8 while Liverpool are playing Chite.All the best kid Jeff.

Hi Russ.. that Vegas trip is still a while away. maybe just say to your friends in advance that "i dont gamble anymore and won't be gambling in Vegas".. you don't especially have to give any reasons.. its just your choice. keep it simple.
