Now 14 days gf which includes 2 weekends (hardest 2 days for me due to all the football). Couldn’t even tell you what games were playing or any results (except my team.....unfortunately lost). Feeling good as yesterday was quite quiet in my shop and that’s when I would usually go online and start gambling on the football.

Stay strong....stay gamble free 🙂

21 days now and still no urges. Most of the time I don’t even know what football matches are playing anymore. I used to be able to tell the full weeks fixtures.

I’ve sent an email to a counselling company and hope to arrange an appointment tomorrow to take my journey to another level.

Stay strong....stay gamble free 🙂

Hi Grant.2312

It's great to hear that your recovery is going well. You were saying that you've contacted a counselling company, which is a good next step. Did you know that we offer free counselling in England, Scotland and Wales? You can find out more about our free counselling at our website:

Best wishes

Now 28 days gf and another weekend almost gone. Goodness knows what debt I would now be in if I was still gambling.....dread to think.

Stay strong.....stay gamble free 🙂

It’s been a few weeks since being on here due to easter holidays so kept busy with the kids. Still no gambling and it’s now been 47 days gf.

Hope to be on here a bit more now and I still trying to find time to speak with someone regarding my problem. Hopefully that will be soon .

Stay strong....stay gamble free 🙂

It’s been a very long time since I’ve logged on here. Life is very good and very busy so gambling had not been an issue and never a thought in my mind. Can’t believe it’s been 117 days.......amazing. Still waiting for counselling. It’s been 2 months since registering with them but spoke with them today and I’m next on the list. They are very busy but said hopefully won’t be long now. I feel I’m dealing with my gambling problem very well so waiting for counselling hasn’t really been an issue although I’m sure it will still give me support and important advice to stay gamble free. Hope to be on here more often like I used to when I first registered.

Stay strong.......stay gamble free 🙂
