15 days in and all going to plan. My name is Newey and today No FOBT's have been allowed in my life 🙂

16 days down with many more to go. Bit more reflection time today and I thought back to the last time I played a FOBT. Funny but I got to the point I actually wanted to loose. I was that sick of putting money into it that I'd had enough and wanted it over with because I knew if I won I'd only put it back again. At that point I knew it had to stop for good. I mean who I their right mind would actually want to loose money ? So my journey began again 16 days ago and my determination and resolution not to let them back in my life is as strong as it was on day one. Remember, we all have a choice and I choose not to have FOBT's in my life any more 🙂

Day 18. Not much to report other than my life is still FOBT free.

Great weekend with the other half and hit the big 21 today.

26 :). Just had a take a way and fit to explode. However, once again there have been no FOBT's in my life. I'll take feeling stuffed any day of the week .

So Day 30 FOBT free begins. I have to say that my determination to beat this is still strong and I'm focused on using my hard earned cash on better things. It's a great feeling to look at the bank account and see money in the savings account instead of nothing. That's what I'm concentrating on, that great feeling, not the sick to the pit of my stomach, trembling hands and beads of sweat on my forehead. I'm sure s few of us on here know that feeling alright? Anyway, that's the past and I'm all about the future now. Stay strong people, life is so much better without gambling in your life. My name is Newey and no FOBT's will be allowed in my life today 🙂

That's a month in the bag. Just off to the gym instead of playing FOBT's. Still on track and abstaining. As it's Back to the future day today I'm thinking I'd like my one go in the Time Machine to be the day before I put that first deposit into the virtual table and tell myself not to do what at the time was a bit of harmless fun. That's not going to happen so I'll be content with never going back... Only forward.... Happy BTTF day people 🙂

Day 36 and I won't lie. I've looked but not touched which I suppose is like eyeing up a good looking women when you're married. Just thought to myself... Do you know what I'm not even going to enjoy it if I do it so why even bother. I'd just be blowing the last 36 days. Same thing happend years ago when I stopped smoking. Just got to such a point that it wasn't worth starting again because I'd of wasted all the days of abstaining. I'm actually beginning to hate the thought of playing a FOBT ever again. The bank account is looking great and I feel just as good. If you want it (recovery) and I mean really want it, it's possible believe me. Just believe in yourself. We all have the choice and I choose another FOBT free day. Good luck people x

They say life begins at 40. Well mine started again 40 days ago today when I stopped playing the FOBT's. My name is Newey and I will not let FOBT's in my life today 🙂
