Day 116 absolutely no thoughts of gambling. Things are very positive, got to keep this up! One day at a time!

Day 119 been a testing week with work and my dad in hospital. No slip ups or thoughts of gambling. Its getting close to a third of a year bet free. That feels like a lot. My MOSES runs out soon I set a reminder on my phone to renew it, I will do that today. I wish it was a 5 year thing and not a yearly thing. 

Onwards and upwards, just for today!

Im only on day 4 of not gambling but you are an inspiration! I’ve been sleeping better already and still have the odd urge to gamble but it’s getting easier

Thanks for the support Jules, I hope your recovery is going well! Its day 130 for me, the Cheltenham Festival was always such a big thing for me but I've barely had the telly on this week and just want to ignore it and not see any of it. Feeling really strong for not betting, its good not to be sat thinking about excuses to make to nip out. I'm sleeping better, I'm not obsessing or stressing over money for debts. Things are being taken care of one day at a time. Life has thrown a fair few challenges lately, but none are gambling related! I can do this one day at a time!

Day 150 is now behind me and its nice to see these numbers growing! I'm feeling good and still taking this one day at a time. Finances are tight but getting better and my mood is better. Onwards and upwards, just for today!

@w94s13z6li Hi Bronson.  I have just read through all of your journey so far!👏👏👏👏👏👏. You should be so proud and happy with yourself. I have joined here again, after around 15 years of on/off gambling - more off but enough to cause some serious financial and emotional damage over the years!😔.

I agree with you, not many people seem to post as much as when I was last on here many years ago??? Like you, my main problem - when I did gamble, would be pay day and within a matter of just a few hours, losing every penny. 🙈. Just the thought of that heart wrenching gut feeling doesn’t bear thinking about right now. 👎.  I feel different this time - like when a drug addict has finally said they have had enough and can’t do it anymore, well that’s how I feel about gambling.

Today marks 14 days gamble free for me and I aim this to carry on for evermore. 🙏.

Day 178 almost at half a year bet free, thats impressive and my mind is calm at the moment. My debts are also diminishing, still some way to go but ticking them off! I've also booked a family holiday in August and treated my kids to season tickets for our local club. 

Whilst Cheltenham and Aintree caused me some slight issues, generally I've not thought about gambling. Just got to continue to take this one day at a time!
