First day of rest of my life

Day 22. Day off and i always do clean as wife works away but one thing i ave noticed i clean and clean again house has never looked so good and garden. Plus it frees up time for saturday to spend together. And thanks Luke T things are defo on the up. Money in bank, smile on both mine and wifes face loving life. Good luck all

Day 23. Spent the day with the wife, dog and her family. Had a great day and the thought of placing a bet or having a spin on the roulette was a distant memory. Never really had days likes this plus first time ever we are in position to treat the whole family on tea and dinner and owt else we bought today. But sharing with my savings from betting brings a massive smile to both mine and wifes face role on more days like this. Good luck all

Day 26. Had a great few days been away with the wife and dog. Think all gamblers should move to the countryside. Didnt see one bookies and no chance of any signal for internet gambling. The wife wanted to treat me for doing so well to a log cabin break only 2 nights but didnt think of betting once while away. Back now to work but feel strong to keep my gamble free days rolling. Day 27. Well big day today got a job interview. Past all the course and all the tests. CRB is sent of medical friday. All with the money i normally gamble. 27 days ago i decided to grab a hold of my gambling but not only that time to grab hold of my life and get that back. Had my first group counselling session, funny thing is its easy to tell them the things ive done to cover my loses cause pretty much we all do same. As ive said day 27 fast approaching my first month. Good look all

Day 28. Thursday is normally the hardest day of the week for me, normally have a day off and wife isnt due back till friday so urge hits me real hard. As typical thursday is spent in bookies all day. So this and last thursday got overtime so not only am i not spending at bookies im earn extra. I would say tallying up everything these last 28 days i have saved £2000 not gambling are bank balance is looking better than it ever has, we have treated ourselves and even are familys taken large take aways round. Somethink that even when i won i wouldnt do as had to hide winnings or thought that was gambling money. So not only am i smiling and enjoying life more im bring smiles to others faces. Something i have changed and its my opinion of myself and how others think of me. Often called miserable and swear words and i liked it i played up to this. And was happy being labeled this, im the bad guy. But that give me licence to gamble cause hey im the bad guy, bookies are a bad place to be. Now ppl who dont know that im having counselling and on here comment on how ive changed im at events im more of a laugh. And the ppl close to me who do know say how proud they are of me, which is had to swallow as ive always played the bad guy. But you know wat goes to show that my gambling effect more ppl than i ever could imagine. Good luck all
