I for one am still addicted to playing these machines. I don’t lose as much on them as I used to but can’t seen them to let go on playing them. To play more than £2 you have a bar which in my view is dangerous because you can still lose a small fortune in a short period of time. I saw somebody put £350 and the only chance he had of winning was on one number the rest we’re pointless. So why still play on them
Hi Boro. Like you for years I was hooked on the machines and couldn't quite bring myself to give up on them - to accept I can never play on them like a 'normal' person. Once I press that first spin I'm powerless over the outcome. If u stay away from that first bet then you know that you can have a normal day.
Would really recommend you call this number and self exclude from all your local bookies.
You don't even need to go into the shop they help you create a profile if you send them a photo by email etc.
I know you said in past GA not for you but for me it's been a massive game changer having been on here for years and had counselling etc the only place where I can truly feel at home with others like me and have hope I can live the rest of my life without gambling.
Wish you well.
Cheers for the advice tm.1985. Just so hard to get off playing these machines
I have used your link today mate I have self excluded from all betting shops in local area. I’d have to travel quite a distance to play on them
Affected by gambling?
