Big cravings today. Day off work. Only got a few pound but the voices are saying that could be turned into more for a better weekend. Got to stay busy and strong.

Let myself down again. Fridays are the worst. Need to have a strategy in place for the next one.

Trying to focus on the positives. Got through yesterday (Saturday ). On the two occasions I have slipped up managed to stop before it went too far. This month will be the least I have lost for months.

Well done fella, will get easier over time and must fill the quiet times with something to stop those urges. Keep it up, you will get through this.

Well I have totally messed up again. Gambled 100 on Monday. I hate this addiction. Got to find the strength to start again.

Don't be so hard on yourself you haven't totally messed up, urges do come and it's good that it was only 100 and you came on here to tell us about your mistake. I once didn't come on for a few weeks after loosing over 1.5k felt so bad but this is the right place to receive support and keep yourself motivated.

Thanks as you say I was too embarrassed to come on here to admit it. I did not then have enough money to go to my works Xmas do which was not good but hopefully some motivation. GF Saturday.

Keep battling despair...you've some relapses but the main thing is you are keeping at trying!

my relapse lasted 10 months and about 5k...now I'm in the best place I have been for many years.

keep strong and keep posting

I so agree with some of the other posts I have noticed regarding that feeling of wanting to be actually rid of the money so the stress etc. is gone. Not even about winning or losing anymore.
