Still GF since Boxing Day. Actually felt quite positive about the future yesterday. More of my family know what I been going through now which has helped.

Another day GF. In some ways if am lucky that my problem was never online gambling. I try to keep my weekend days as short as possible so there is less time to be tempted.

Hi Thisishowitfeels, I get what you are saying...It occurred to me when I first started recovery how lucky I was that I was reliant on premises being open to do my damage. I can see it from both sides now though...There is no blocking software for bookies & with new shops opening every day, I could make it my life's work excluding from them all! Don't do your recovery a disservice by thinking it should be easier to get over our poison, it's not, we all have the same horrible demons messing with our heads!

15 days is brilliant! I no longer stay in bed 'keeping my days short' & I have never felt better, you too will get here just stay strong - ODAAT

Thank you. Day twenty six now. For some reason the cravings are quite bad today. Just shows you even after 26 days still there.

Hi,

Just want to say very well done on 26 days and having those cravings and not giving in is fantastic going, keep going, you will get even stronger as the days build up and the cravings will be less, well done again.

Thanks. 5 weeks tommorrow. One thing I have noticed this week is the other issues that I was probably using gambling to get away from are coming into sharper focus. I.e. How my boss treats me at work etc. got to stay strong and not let them win.
