Thank you Joan...i like this little packt - you stay strong and i stay too:-) DEAL!

Good morning diary,

Well, last early post from me:-) still moving forward....just...:-)

Day 99...i'm finally here...like this number a lot:-)

Looking back and still can't believe what load of emotions i went through so far...i hope my moods settle as time passes:-). It's been wonderful journey, i grow up with myself, i opened my eyes to life, i learned a lot. And all of this is because of this site and wonderful people here...

I am doing it, i'm standing straight and looking at good, bad and ugly things life throughs at me...and i like it, it's challenge at a times, but it's a matter of dealing with it all i have learned in a past 99 days...

Thank you all for showing me the way, sticking together and getting over hurdles. All your advice and believe in me, took me to where i am today:-)

It's still a lot of work to do, but i hope with time i will find the way to deal with it all better..

Getting emotional....:-)

Time to go..

Day at a time

Stay strong all

Sandra x

Hey Sandra

You are right ...this site changes lives for the better and I'm so glad you have found the right place for you ...I'm not disappearing completely but am going to start weaning off and crossing over back into real life with more enthusiasm ...

in many ways I'm more stuck than some of the folks on here who came on broken and now are abstaining in the long term...I guess it's because I really do have to start it all again and I can't go back and pick up the pieces with an exsisting family ,hubyy and kids etc and be reenergised ..

So bit by bit I'm bringing in other diamensions to my life ,..no big whoops ...just a small second job 5 hrs a week and a drink after work midweek...nothing major but big weaning off steps for me..

Keep strong girl !! Always reading and always love reading your posts xxx

Yo,

You know sweet, there's looks of good advise on this site , but it takes courage and determination to act on the advise .

Today you should be standing proud , they say get through the first 100 days then the foundations are set and you give yourself a chance at sustaining recovery .

I think you got early on, it's about a lot more than just not gambling . You have thrown yourself whole heartedly into fighting this addiction , for that my dear friend I salute you .

Onwards and upwards so to speak.

Working today ? I am in a hour or so , roll on Friday when I am off for 10 days . So much for bank hol weekends 🙁

Take care

Thank you S.A, Rachel,Shiny and Phil, - all the best guys:)

Dear diary,

Well, what a fantastic day today..I'm absolutely shattered, but couldn't resist going for a run in this lovely weather:)

I think it did me lol, no sleep for last 28 hours finally caught up with me, and i have to say i have to have a early night tonight haha....feel like 90 year old:) Prob be up at 03:00 in a morning lol, but can't drag it any longer...

Otherwise it's all ok, no gambling thoughts thank God.. Gambling is disaster, which takes it all..money, family, your soul...it is a walking death for sure...

My mind still reeling, but about good things for once:)Had a lovely chat with mum, which picked my spirits up even more.

I hoped to get on a chat tonight, but i'm afraid i will be having ninth dream by that time lol....never mind, plenty of other times ahead

Bed time me thinks, take care all

Thank you thank you thank you for all the support and advice.

((((((all))))))

Day at a time, and it can only get better!

Happy and peaceful life don't have to cost a penny, it's souls around you that counts....:)

Hey Sandra

thank you for your post Hun....easy to think I was going as I have had a few attempts before ..lol ...but figure weaning is better ...x

I can also see you are in good form and that your communication with your family is helping you a lot ..as Irene says ,.you are a strong person and will get through anything I know it...

I'm also upping my exercise with all this extra work and racing round...my legs definitely toning up which may even inspire me to start running ..although I have toyed with this before and decided it felt too exhausting...lol lol

good for you for keeping body, mind and soul in tip top form Sandra..

Thank you Ade, and of course my top ladies Irene and Rach 🙂 xxx I am proud of you all

Dear diary,

Up and ready for the day, visit to the bank ( out of comfort zone but i'm sure i will manage) and taking car to the garage....some spending spree on repairs.

But at least i can afford paying it and if i didn't stop this gambling cycle 100 days ago, it would of been diferent story.

Take care all, stay strong and enjoy this lovely day

Thank you so much Lisa,Alex and Shiny xxx

Love the little animation thing Shiny 🙂 most appreciated.

well dropped my car off, walked back home, which took most part of the day, got two blisters on my heels and feel fantastic:(

Getting very bored again, and my thoughts is not about too nice things, especially then i had the worst gambling dream last night, which put me down....... I just decide to set of for a long bike ride while sun is shining and clear my head a bit. As much as would love to sound upbeat on this occasion, i am honest with myself and all of you guys......but....i'm a fighter and fighting a good fight!

100 days.....i would be an idiot to do something silly at this stage....:)

Thanx for reading

Take care all

hugs all around
