Hi Blondie,

Good post there, it's great that you can now start to look and reason with why things happenend and what the triggers were at that time.

I find it hard to recognise some of them as new situations latley have bought on a few and then i think why? because that wasn't the reason before , confusing!

Glad the sun is shining for you and can def understand the boyfriend, whenever i go up the lakes and cross the penines on the 66 the weather changes normally for the worst lol and us southerners just don't like it but as is been bad here latley so we are getting used to it lol

You made me laugh about the wheelchairs , i could just visualize it but hopefully not for us!

You are doing amazing and if you want/don't want to count then that's up to you cause you are the only person who can make the decision to remain bet free , and you are doing bloody fantastic at it!

Keep Strong Blondie and i'am glad the sun is shining within you too today

Smiling Lucy xxxx

DAY 59

So tomorrow when im 60 lol im stopping counting till i reach 90 days.

The rain is back with avengance here today but i did manage to 2 get lots of washing dry whilst working from home yesterday (Nudge nudge, secret handshake). Back in the office today and daydreaming out the window, not much motivation today but it will come.

Life is calm at the moment, all is good, my mums house has sold so i need to start making plans for her when she moves in, that means downsizing my walk in wardrobe lol.... where will i put all my shoes !!!!!!. Im looking forward to her moving in we get on like best friends and i know she will be much happier living in my mad house lol....

So i settled another one of my debts yesterday it was 2200 and i got a settlement figure of 678 so its paid.... gone!!! just another 3 more smallish ones to go and I sent of my PPI letters I have been meaning to do it for ages lets see what that brings....

Today is still a good day, I feel like im sailing the sea of tranquility at the moment and it feels good, If im not off to coventry later today Im going to try and make my G.A meeting tonight.

I found this saying yesterday and i liked it.... The only way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket....

Thanks for all the posts everyone.. Have a great gamble free day..

Blondie day 59.....dun dun derrrrrrrrrr

Well done on your recovery so far Blondie , now you are well into double figures hopefully you ill start to see things more clearly.

Ive just reached two months and it feels great and attacking my debts feels good when I get one out of the way like you did especially when its at a reduced cost , its like winning but in a different way where there is no risk.

I never went down the GA route , how are you finding it ?

Thanks for your post Blondie, you're like a ray of sunshine on a rainy day, you make my soul, make my soul, trip trip away. 60 tomorrow, unbelievable it doesn't seem like yesterday you were on 58. The best news I heard though is that you get to chair a GA meeting when you reach 90. What an achievement that will be, take care, eyes off the window, concentrate on the job and keep whistling, Steve

the big 60 Today.

60 days gamble free and it feels fantastic. !!!!!!

I always think i should reflect when i reach a big milestone but today I want to count all the positives I have gained over the past 60 days.

Gambling doesnt scare me anymore, I keep it at arms length and I by no means will ever underestimate its power over me but im no longer scared of it.

Life doesnt scare me anymore, I am thankfull I decided to turn mine around, I am thankfull that I have a chance to make amends to myself and to the people i love.

Money doesnt scare me anymore, I respect it for what it can do for me, help me start ticking off my bucket list, give me quality time and happy holidays with my family, allow me the freedom to choose, food in the cupboard, take a way meals, shoes lol.

My feelings dont scare me anymore, I accept them, I embrace them, I try to understand them instead of putting them back in that box in the pit of my stomach and gambling.

Work doesnt scare me anymore, I find that im 100% more motivated again and without blowing my own trumpet ive always had sucessfull results for my team imagine what we can achieve now im fully committed.

Life is good, I am good, My girls are amazing, My boyfriend is one in a million, My Mum is coming to live with me soon, My doggie is super cute and thats more than enough for me, so gambling demons...... as we say in manchester..... Dooooooo 1, You have nothing to offer me you never did i just wasnt brave enough to tackle you, im growing in strength and you my friend are getting weaker and weaker..

I HAVE THE POWER.... NOT YOU.....

Blondie day 60.... and shouting from the roofs.... a bit like HE man... lol xxx

Morning,

When I quicky glanced over David's post miss read SAs diary as the SAS. Lol

But on reflection just about sums up your attitude over the last 60 days. What a fighter showing strength and determination,. Made a plan, and blew that gambling addiction into the middle of next week.

Well done honey, hope the boyfriend is coming down today to help you enjoy a well deserved celebratery weekend .

Dusty xxxxxxxxx

Ps just noticed that this post was 360 , ummmmmm,

Something very pleasing about that, sort of sums( excuse the pun) your journey thus far .
