Quick post from me today. Thanks for the posts everyone.

The end to another gamble free week for me, the madness at work continues, still working now 🙁

Onwards and forever upwards.

Hey,

Just thought I would drop by see how my good friend is doing. Busy busy busy is the answer. Is it one of those it's all worth it in the end scenarios? I tend to find life steps up a gear during the times we actually just want to slow down for 5 minutes.

What I would say is you are better equipped now to deal with anything thrown at you than you prob have been for a long long time. I mentioned on my diary yday about having one final 2012 push make the best of what's left. I think after the madness of December has passed you can look at this year in an extremely positive light.

Try to keep smiling my friend,

Flagg

Just thought I'd drop in and say hello. So hello from me, hope you've found sometime to chill, the madness of work combined with the madness of Xmas. Gotta love it. Busy end to the year but what a year it's been!

Another few gamble free days to add to the 7 month total and all is well in terms of no urges and no intentions to gamble. There isnt enough hours in the day lol.

Work is just mental at the moment and from friday im covering for my boss for the whole of december so double the work load.

Lots of change coming up for me in 2013, Boyfriend will be in the north full time with me, eldest talking about moving out and getting her own place so potential for my mum to move in.

Getting organised for christmas, tree going up this weekend just need to get the decorations down from the loft.

Also counting down to my holiday 26 days to go.. woooo hoooo I will most definatly need it by then.

Im still feeling strong and the resolve to live a gamble free life one day at a time has not left me.

Thank you everyone for the posts.

Hi Blondie,

Very inspiring to see your life is so wonderfully normal and your resolve is staying so strong. I made it to 7 months earlier in the year and then somehow the ease and normality of my gamble free life lulled me into wanting a little "excitement" that (of course) devastated me again! Your diary is very inspiring. Thank you.

Hi Blondie,

Good to hear your head is in a good place at the minute and you can celebrate the fact it is Friday. Don't know about you but when I was gambling everyday was like groundhog day if I had funds, and I never got the buzz of the weekend!

You take good care of yourself, take one day at a time and I know everything else falls into place

Take Care
