Congratulations Blondie......Boy have you come a long way !!!! Yes, I am the Crystal of 8 months ago. I lost the plot 3 months ago when I walked into a venue that I was self excluded and they welcomed me with opened arms. But this year will be my year. I am the only one responsible for myself. My girlfriends that I have lunch with each week know about my situation with my son and my gambling and they both are what life should be about - fun, shopping, coffee/cake, laughter and I value their friendship soooo much.
Just watch my space, I will be right behind you and I will be 6 months before I know it gamble free.

Day hmmm im not sure but i know its 9 months on the 23rd january.
Wow wow wow, I never thought i would get to 9 days, Each day i get stronger and each day gambling becomes further and further removed from my life, long may that continue.
I am so proud of what i have done and I know if there is a way my dad can see me he would be beaming from ear to ear with pride.
Life is to short to waste on gambling
Life is to precious to torture myself with gambling and hit the self destruct button.
I am worth more than that and for once i actually beleive that....
Keep going everyone, one day at a time, Today do something amazing ... I DID.

Thanks everyone for the posts it's always appreciated. What a lovely weekend so far these are the things that we take for granted when we gamble. Day spent with mum, youngest and boyfriend or correction fiancé lol sounds weird that, cooking Lebanese food and eating the spoils, nice walk with the dogs, then home and some tv with the eldest tagging along and her new boyfriend who flew from Bournemouth tonight to see her, hmmm never been introduced to a boyfriend before . Off to a wedding Fair tomorrow that was the other halfs idea not mine, but looking forward to it.
No gambling to report, no time, no inclination, no urges and no intention on acting on them even if they come.
Just for today I choose to be as happy as I can be, today I was thankful for the people who are in my life, and I told everyone of them. Today I was thankful for another day in recovery.
