A big whopping thankyou to ALL the GamCare diaries . Today is my 100th GF Day . The helpful advice , support and encouragement from fellow travellers , admin staff and my counsellor has made it all achievable . On days I was struggling I pictured myself arm in arm with you all , head down with a belly full of hope , just kept going forward one day at a time .

Having a good holiday staying at my sisters , thought my great nephews birthday party was today but it's tomorrow , should be great fun getting together with nephews nieces and their children .

I have made a lot of acquaintances over the years , but their is an extra special place in my heart for my GamCare friends . Never met you but I count you amongst the best friends i have ever had .... love you all ......stephen x x

Congratulations Stephen. 100 days gambling free is not such an easy task - especially when we consider the powerful urges and crazy mind-play we endure, particularly in the 1st couple of months. As many will testify - we must remain strong and resolute with our on-going challenge in order to re-claim our lives.

Really enjoyed my great nephews birthday party today . A lot of fun with us all in Foxhills outdoor swimming pool . Than lunch ( presents /cards / singing happy birthday ) finished with larking about and playing tennis . Great to enjoy simple pleasures without having thoughts of gambling .
