My little baby boy is adorable and I am trying to enjoy every moment of my paternity leave. Just been out to buy a baby bath and some clothes from Mothercare for both baby and mother. I have needed to spend quite a lot of money on baby-related stuff recently so my bank account has taken a bit of a hit. Still, I do not want to compromise my child's comfort and upbringing, although there is a load of absolute nonsense that I certainly will not be wasting money on!

Hi Pelle, you are right to enjoy every moment of this time, it is precious, you are making memories that will last you until your dying day.

Keep strong and keep positive.

My wife is finding breastfeeding rather difficult and the baby is not really taking to it very well - very stop/start. It has been followed by some projectile sickness too, which is not good. The midwife said the baby is losing too much weight and if he has not started to put some on by tomorrow he will need to go into hospital. My parents bought us a breast-expressing device yesterday, so my wife has used that and we are now trying to feed the breast milk to our baby via a bottle. I hope he keeps his feed down this time.
