Again, I'm here. Back to day 1, not even. This morning I lost all my paycheck, Christmas bonus and some of my partner's money. I've self excluded from physical casinos last month, but managed to start gambling online which is worse. It's Christmas, I'm supposed to be spending this holiday with friends or family but here I am, on the computer, back in my dark place because of my addiction to gambling. Mind you, I am undergoing gambling recovery therapy every week and God help me, it is not working. I am lying to my therapist! I have not eaten or slept and since last night... just on my computer. I am so afraid for my life? I have been trying to stop, but just to relapse again and again, and getting worse each time. This me, right now is not who I wanted to be and worked for all my life. Gambling not only wiped out any asset that I had, but ruined me. These lies, oh these lies I can not take anymore !!! The worrying is constant...my mind feels like it's going to explode. Please help ! I've tried everything :'(

You need to get soneone to put blocks online am fortunate i never got into the online c**P as you can gamble 24/7 few years back their was someone who made XXk profit on his first attempt then lost a XXXk within can easily be done as you can get carried away i did it few years back and something went wrong it did an atomatic bet which lost and i never went on it again after that which i am greatful for as it worst thing that could happen to a compulsive gamblier atleast when i played it bookies or casino if i did win people would encourage me to take the money and run whereas online u could easily get carried away as your mind cant think fast enough, and when i did go i use to leave my card at home as i would get second chance, get yourself blocked off and if your that desprate play for free, dont give your hard earned money to them as u know winning is still lossing as you never win in the long run just makes matter worse

Hi, I'm sorry to see that you are in such a bad place again.

Some of us have complex reasons for gambling, a bit of will power, support and kind words will never make you stop. So ask yourself why you are in this cycle. What is the root cause of you self harming through gambling, because by losing everything and putting ourselves in this position is in fact a form of self harm. Some of us need a hundred day ones, that's okay. Let's go again, remember everytime you gamble itbi a series of decisions, not a slip. Chat about the truth instead of lying as you have already described.  That is my best suggestion for a new, dynamic day one

First thing u need to do is admit you have a problem talk to your family close friends who u can trust get someone to make sure you cant access gambling at this present time gambling is controlling and it very hard to control yourself you need to get to Ga as those people are likely to understand why do it my local GA has added me to their wassas group which is very helpful as i cant always talk about thr issues their, it tough i can promise you one thing with time it does get easier but u have to put up a fight, gambling industry thrives on gambling addicts yet their not enough messures and support to tackle this issue if they did why have they got bookies and gambling places at deprived places where people are accessing foodbanks? Surely food shelter is what us human needs gambling is the last thing human needs very few people view it as entertainment, the honest answer the government dont actually care and with technology they have made it even worse their are more problem gamblier then they ever has been it harder addiction then drugs as it not advertised everywhere and their no limit to the damage it can cause you
