Today I have put a gambling blocker on my phone.
I have been pretending that I can stop by my self. But in the real sense I still felt I can control my gambling. I kept lying to my self .i don't need a blocker.
Since July I have been taking care of a nice who has cancer. So any free time I would get .I spend it gambling away the little money I have. Its become too much.
Today after installing gamban. I free relieved . Bse I know I can't access ang gambling site.
Well Done in taking the first steps to recovery
I also recommend registering with Gamstop. They allow you to self exclude from every uk site registered with them.
Also make sure you have gambling transactions block through your banking apps and banks
these will make life a little easier.
Also make you check out the forum chat at 8pm every night for more peer to peer advice.
Thats it in a nutshell.....pure relief after taking that step. It makes you feel great doesn't it and you wonder why didn't I do this earlier - the answer of course is because we have a problem and lie to ourselves about it in many ways.
Good luck and stick with it.
Mick
@alireza Thank you. Gamstop works only in UK. I have self excluded my self from most of them. Except one which doesn't have that option. But with a gambling blocker. I can't access it to.
@mp . Thank you. It really feels great. U feel like a burden has been lifted off your shoulders.
