Ur doing well brownie just keep at it and I wouldn't hesitate at closing them accounts , yes the ball was a massive part of ur life but ur trying to get away from it now the best way is the band aid way , quick and sharp . The sooner it's out of ur life the better and u will soon realise that it's getting harder and harder to play with that silly little ball and u will be so grateful ! Trust me mate be done with it in anyway u can before u write a post that starts with 'I gave in' think of how bummed u will be , 3 days is a good achievement and u got to double it then double that next thing u no ur at a month and flying !

Brownie

As I said on the chat, we are on 3 days at the moment and 10 days you think is a life time away...this time next week it will be here, think of your future and not the past. As you've pointed out, 6 years from now, it will be gone, and you can look back and say 'I did it'. It is hard, today I had an urge, just to nick a tenner....but I thought, what will I achieve in doing it. I know where its been 10 through the machine, 100, 500.....it happens. Recentley I notified the old man and old dear and said to order a new card and pin and to remove all my card details off websites. That for me has made me realise it's a little easier if you have that logic! This time next week, 10 days will be next to both of us and many more to come! Good luck matey, I know you wont need it!

Still not had a spin finding it really hard to concentrate in work keeping thinking go on one spin will not hurt.... Also feeling really low and tired, surely it must get easier?, Going to bank tomorrow to sort my finances out, 4hrs and bed time and one more day ticked off. Im feeling so bloody lost. Shocked now how much time I spent playing Roulette.

It does get better...it really does. What you're going through is the withdrawal period. It's tough and it feels like it'll never end, but it will and you'll be grateful that you hung on. Your moods will be up and down, and you'll feel like your head might explode at times 🙂 If you read through other diaries, you'll see lots of people find it really tough at first. Believe me....there's light at the end of the tunnel.

Try to distract yourself. Read, watch a film, meet up with friends or just go to bed if you have to. If you stick with ( and I think you will) you'll never have to feel this way again.

Keep strong.
