DAY 51

Goodnight all. Not accessing online gambling has helped, very much, and not stepping into a bookies.

Still needs constant vigilence.

Just for today, I will not gamble.

DAY 53

Since payday I have had a few thoughts about gambling but have not acted on the urges. I need to keep,to my strategies, one day at a time. They work, I know. Helps to be writing on here.

I do feel physically, as well as mentallly, strong when I don't gamble.

DAY 54

Still going strong. Despite poor state of finances I know it will be worse if I start to gamble.

One day at a time

DAY 55

Thanks Mary, hope that your recovery is going well too. One day at a time is the only way I cam do it amd will recsp at 90 days. Last time a family crisis broke a spell of over 100 days gambling free so I need to be ready for a crisis, need to get things in order so when it happens I stay af home or phone someone. However, feeling strong today, going to work now.

Just for today, I will not gamble.

DAY 55 PM

Got through today with some urges, but kept strong. Got a little financial difficulty - letter from a creditor (still owe 9k in total) but no need to panic, will deal with it in a rational way. One thing is sure, financial worries are reduced if I do not gamble.

You're doing great johnjoseph, keep ticking those days off one at a time, slow and steady towards a better future. We can't change the past, but we can make all our tomorrow's count.
