Day 1 of diary (have been gamble free for 8 days tho) .Only joined recently, on here reading people's post every night now (getting addicted to this instead maybe?) . The thing that is different this time from a cpl of attempts before is that I am serious and determined to quit for good.Online slots is my demon, bookies, roulette and any other sport ect online or not I'm not bothered about. So having cash on me is fine (would rather buy clothes, shoes ect if I have the cash I my hands. There has been times where I have gone to excess and had no money left and was quite happy for my partner to keep me with no shame or remorse (and the time). Feeling positive at the moment and will conquere this.

Evening well done on getting past the first week good you seeing signs that payday could be a hurdle, it's easy to abstain when funds are limited, you say you have blocked the websites which is good it might also help to get some blocking software or put parental controls on your broadband. Just make sure you get someone else to set the password.

Not sure if you have told your partner but that would help they could take control of you finances aswell as someone keeping an eye on you who you are accountable to.

Keep updating your diary and read others to pick up ideas.
