Keep it up Hollie - I look forward to following your recovery diary and seeing you abstain - Duncan is right about the triangle. Through blocking software on my phone and laptop I've removed the 'place' aspect. The place I mostly gambled was online. By having free software downloaded onto my devices and a friend of mine set up the passwords I can't join a new online gambling site even if I want to.

Wishing you continued sucess on your journey

Clare x

Well done Hollie. Similar to you it is when boredom sets in that i struggle. I try and keep busy and keep my mind off it. If iknow i will have spare time i will set myself a task or go for a sauna or anything to take my mind off it. Keep up the good work and we have not gambled this year

Hi Hollie,

Welcome aboard, and just want you to know I understand those tough days when we gambled the most, get through today, and you will feel a lot stronger tomorrow, every single time we starve those urges, we get stronger,

You have one week under your belt tomorrow, stay strong and focused today, and you will feel sooo good tomorrow,

Suzanne xx

Hi Hollie,

Can I ask where you got the blocker for your phone from ? this is now my only means of gambling and would like to install a blocker to stop the urges.

Thanks.

Hi johnb I bought gamblock it was about £30 and well worth it. I have a samsung s4 and it works fine on it. Good luck with it and you will be breaking the triangle of hell by downloading it x

Thanks Hollie, £30.00 is a small price to pay for peace of mind.

How many days since you last gambled ?
