MY DIARY

Day 15 no gambling. I keep remembering the mornings waking up in panic thinking how I had gambled all my money and playing often until 5am chasing it back.
That though keeps me in reality when I get urges.
Got money yesterday and a flash of slots came into my mind but I quickly came on here and read some diaries.
I feel so much better lately and enjoy friends calling and feel I engage better in conversations.
when I was in gambling mode I hated even answering the phone and if I did talk I was playing at the same time. Good luck to you all. We will and can overcome this addiction.

Hi Holllie

Just wanted to say well done on reaching fifteen days. Thats a fantastic achievement so far.

In my experience of being on here and wanting to remain gamble free, putting the K9 blocker on my laptop and my mobile have definitely got me where I am today. You should try it too if you are serious about staying gamble free.

Take care and remain strong.

Feb.

Hi Feb. I have gamblock on my phone and got rid of my laptop. Peace of mind is so good but little demons keep popping into my head. But no more of my hard earned money is going to money grabbing evil slots. They prey on additive gamblers.

16 days gamble free
Hi Rach I'm glad to see you are on day 20. Well done to you
I was just like you on the online slots for over 4 years. Often up half the night chasing me lost money. Waking up in fear and scraping through until next payday. We can do this and then silly casinos are not getting one more penny of our earnings.
Keep strong and battle on.
I have a block on my phone and cannot get into any sites so this works for me. X

18 days gamble free. Strange feelings today. Its like I'm back in reality and have to deal with issues that possibly made me gamble to escape from. I can do this. Going to take one day at a time and deal with my feelings
Good luck all x

Well done Holly. You can do it. Its just practice once you get used to dealing with what your hurt is it becomes empowering. Just remember that some things are out of our control & accept that. But if we need change & can make that happen lets do it!

Hi Hollie, well done on 18 days, push through these feelings and thoughts, they won't last long, and when you overcome them, you will feel sooo much stronger and more deterimined to keep abstaining,

Keep strong and keep going forwards

Suzanne xx
