Day 100

Well I finally made it, never in a million years did I think I would reach this stage but now that I have my resolve will be even stronger pushing on. I feel so much better in this new life and slowly my finances are getting better, not as quick as I would like but I know my money is not being wasted chasing pointless dreams.
I am happy to be spending a fantastic weekend with my family albeit the weather is horrible, swim and pantomime to look forward to later followed by my celebration meal!!
For those starting on their journey, please believe and remain strong as I have proved myself wrong by managing to abstain for this period. Maintaining a diary has been a great motivator so it is worthwhile, people on the forum also provide great inspiration and a huge thankyou to them.
Onwards the march continues and the next target is Christmas day.

Day 101
The weekend is over all too quick so travelling home today and back to work tomorrow. Today I will not place a bet.
Day 102
Back to normality, feels good to say that without the worry of losing money every day. Work beckons and today I will not place a bet.
Day 103
Quietly marching on with no urges at the moment. The weather is terrible outside this morning, today I will not place a bet.
Day 104
GT totally agree it feels great to have achieved over 100 days, but the journey is only just beginning and the pain remains at least for me. I use this as a reminder of the damage this addiction causes and ensure that I never become complacent taking it one day at a time. The urges have reduced which is positive and today I will not place a bet.
Day 105
Another gamble free week ticked off. Remaining strong in my recovery and looking forward to an exciting future, today I will not place a bet.
Day 106
Another weekend of winning, not much to report other than I may just put up the Xmas tree!!!!. Today I will not gamble.
Day 107
Still feels good being on 3 figures!! Getting ready for Xmas and hopefully another gamble free week.

Another Monday morning comes around, feeling quite good and today I will not place a bet.

Continue pushing on and busy at work just now. Every day feels good adding another day to the total. Won't get much of the debt reduced this month due to Christmas but not worried as I have not gamble. Today I will not place a bet.
Well? Did you get the tree up? Keep fighting for your recovery...It is so worth it & the debt will eventually become part of your past where you have placed gambling - ODAAT

Thanks for dropping by ODAAT, yep the tree is up along with some nice outdoor lights!! Looking forward to my first gamble free Xmas in about 15 years. That makes me so happy, less stress, more money, less debt and importantly more family time. For those reasons I will not place a bet today.
