Hi Diary,

Day 335 - Football this morning. Looks like another struggle ahead as it's rained for about the last 15 hours. We have four league matches left and still yet to lose so going for unbeaten season. Hard work in these conditions though.

Nothing else to report it's the weekend and every day is a step closer to holiday and that one year. Obstacles aplenty before that 30 of them to be exact.

Day 335 - Muddy!!

Morning World,

Day 336 - Not a great day yesterday had one of those days of reflection and a sharp reminder that I created myself a deep hole and a huge mess!! The only real positive is that makes me more determined not to gamble but its a poor trade off when you feel so low!!

On the bright side feel lots better today accept the things I cannot change is the saying and I'm not too bad at that 95% of the time! 4 weeks to go until the year milestone so only 3 and a half until Barcleona! Plenty to keep me going!!

Day 336 - Another day!

Hi Flagg

Sorry to hear that you have been feeling a little low the past couple of days. I am similar to you in that for 99% of the time, I am really positive with all this and then just that 1% has me reflecting back on how my life used to be pre-gambling. I suppose it is only very normal/natural to think this way so I just accept it as just that.

I often read your posts as you are one of the people who inspire me to continue in my plight of abstinance. You, like me, remain positive and give out positive affirmations to others which is great.

Continue with your wonderful efforts and you will soon be walking along "The Bright Side of the Road" like me, only difference is that your's will be on La Rambla!!!

Take care Flagg.

Almost a year gone-wow! 🙂

Hey mr f,

I am glad today is a better day sometimes those days of reflection can not us hard but it only serves as a reminder of what gambling did for us.

You have your shovel in hand and everyday you are digging your way out of that hole and burying the past with the dirt your dig out.

Keep going and although reflection can sometimes cause us pain, reflection of how far you have come and what you have achieved is always good to, don't ever forget that.

Enjoy your day.

Take care

Blondie x

Lunchtime Diary,

Day 338 - Off on my travels again! Today is prob a blessing with the festival starting will pretty much be totally shielded from the first 2 days! Might try and catch the highlights though! Desperately searching for that balance at the moment life not gambling is good most definitely but can't seem to string a few days of decent moods together! Terribly lethargic and devoid of enthusiasm for pretty much everything! Hoping Barcelona can give me a huge lift tonight by winning! It's not just about the football really it's about what it represents and I really need them to win later! How sad really!!

Day 338 - Chugging Along!

Hi Diary,

Day 341 - Back in work today feeling much better. Added bonus of going back is that it's Friday. Sure the weekend will fly past as ever.

Not really mentioned Cheltenham this week. It helped being ill in a way. Tuesday and Wednesday I was on a train and then yesterday I will confess to watching the races. Having a bet didn't cross my mind though and I really enjoyed the races still. Today I will probably catch a race or two again and then it's over for another year. Honestly it is the only thing I miss, having that interest in a sport I have always loved.

Anyway enough of that, very very close to holiday now and it so happens the Champions league quarter final 2nd leg could fall on my 1 year date. Tempted to try get tickets!!

Day 341 - Much Better!
