4 weeks gambling free. First payment of debts complete. Long journey ahead but it’s been a solid start. What a difference life can make if you just speak to people and be honest. Can only go onwards and upwards from here.

Hope everyone is well. I am still going strong. Have some days where I feel down and worthless because of my finance situation but I am currently 46 days gambling free. Remember to stay strong guys!

Dear @jee95 ,

Well done on 61 days being gamble free. You are right, payday can be a trigger but you have been wise and used it pay off debts which is amazing. Your journey ahead is well underway and you are doing brilliantly. Keep up the good work, focus on the gym and all that heavy lifting. Please keep posting and sharing your success on here as it is always great to see someone doing so well. And please remember to contact the help line or netline should you need any further support.

Hi All,

felt a bit down and very hopeless due to my financial situation. It really does hurt sometimes that I’m stuck in this pattern for 2 years to pay debts off where I should be making my life at this important stage. Buying a car going on holidays ect, but I can’t even go on a night out for 2 years. It’s a tough time but I guess I can only try and stay strong and keep taking it day by day

love

172 gamble free! Nearly 6 months clean and still going to my GA meetings regularly. A long way to go but things are going in the right direction. One credit card been paid off as well! Stay strong all, today is a good day. We will overcome the bad days as-long as we stay strong and share our feelings to someone.

Hi,

hope you’re well. I was gamble free for nearly 2 years with no debt until yesterday where I took out loans and gambled again
