Congratulations Roch!!
And Aum, what lovely comments ?
Thank you for a wonderful poem, Stephen; it's been great reached 130 days!
And thank you for your kind message Joanne 🙂
Day 131, and I'm keeping it simple and manageable. Just for today, I choose not to gamble.
Day 134.  After a really busy few days, I’m back, and gambling free. One day at a time, every time 🙂
Hope life is treating you well Roch.
Good weather forecast for the bank holiday. A great opportunity to spend time outdoors enjoying the sunshine.
Aum ?
Thank you for the visit Stephen and I 100% agree, a few days soaking in that extra Vitamin D is definitely on the cards.Â
Day 137. I might not update every day but it's always gambling-free one day at a time.
Day 138.  Where the days go nobody knows! But, one day at a time remains my motto. The sun's coming out, it's gonna be a busy busy half term out there but it's all about focus and living a fulfilled life, not one wasted - money, time, life - on c**P.
Â
Hi roch. Send me a message to let me know when you are planning to come on chat again. Would
love to catch upÂ
Hi Debsy! I was on chat on Thursday for a while bt will make every effort tomorrow 🙂
I hope all's well with you!
Day 139. Another day under me belt.
Hope you are enjoying the bank holiday weekend Roch.Â
A good time to celebrate as you have refrained from gambling for 140 days. I tip my hat, raise my glass and applaud your excellent progress.Â
Aum ?
Congratulations on 140 days. Be proudÂ
Thank you Stephen, Debsy! Day 141 and together we march on 🙂
Day 142. One day at a time.Â
Feeling good about oneself
Is not a lot to ask
However we can make it
A monumental task
Â
By no means are we perfect
But we are gamble free
And in the future we'll look back
Relieved at what we see
Â
Roch is on a missionÂ
A proud man so kind heartedÂ
Whose battle cry rings in my ears
LET'S FINISH WHAT WE STARTED
Â
Aum ?
Thank you for that battle-cry Stephen.  Tonight, on a short staycation with my young son, I watched as someone, in my modest seaside hotel, pumped £500 into a machine and proceeded to lose the lot. Was I likely to follow? No chance. I didn’t want the misery, win or lose. So Day 143 it is!
Why did I watch? Well, I did. But even less inclined to gamble. That’s the truth of it. Let’s keep this better life going 🙂
Day 145. I’ve been away for a few days with my son, but no gambling. Bliss. Just don’t want/need to ‘go there’.Â
Affected by gambling?
