Hi Julie/ Sandra
Thanks kindly for your nice words as always on my wee diary. Another gambling free day for me. However, i can't ever get complacent. i've been there before, 320 odd days of NO GAMBLING only to relapse BADLY. So i'm taking nothing at all for granted. I'm training my mind everyday and reaffirming to it to leave gambling of any kind well alone. Everytime we cross a busy road (where there are no traffic lights, we carefully look left and right and then left and right and then left and right again before we finally cross the road when its all clear. Well, each day I NOW see gambling as crossing any busy road without looking left and right, left and right and again left and right. In others words if i gamble i get knocked down and more than likely KILLED.
So i just need my brain to know that when i get any kind of urge at all to gamble i've not done my checks, my left and right and if i proceed to gamble its GAME OVER.
So when i get an urge now, i always ALWAYS think it as crossing a busy road.. So i do my checks, left and right, left and right and again left and right and GAMBLING URGE GONE!
I then get on with my day HAPPY.
Thank You
Craig

Hi Guys
Thanks to you all very kindly for posting on my diary and for your on-going encouragement. Much appreciated.
Not much to report on, just keeping myself busy and getting nice and fit. Enjoying the simple things in life more and more. Walks in the fresh air, a quiet nice coffee in a coffee shop, going out for some lunch. Things that were a million miles away from me in the past. So all good.
Day 69, 70, 71 - NO GAMBLING

Hi Mo/ Tomso/ Sandra
Thank you kindly to each of you for the nice posts left on my diary. Always appreciated.
I am happy to report, still no gambling. Doing well and feeling stronger and more happier each day, HOWEVER, i will not become complacent, never ever again. I will keep my wits about me and be very wary of potential gambling triggers, etc. I will do my look left and right check again 🙂
Cheers
Craig
