DAY 13
Still going strong and am gamble free.
It is good to get up every day again and go to work a) because it feels good to be earning money again and b) I feel the anti-depressants must have kicked it either that or I have mentally turned a corner. I haven't felt down or depressed in days and days and I can't wait for my girlfriend to get down here on the weekend so we can hopefully go out and enjoy each others company. I am focussing on trying to be a better boyfriend to her in the future and even though I am poor at present I want to make it up to her and in time prove to her I really have turned a corner. Adamant to stay clean of gambling.
Think I'm on a high today because my football team had a great result last night and we are having an amazing season, roll on the next game!
So all is good on this front.
Wilsy
fella you may be financially poor but in so many ways your richer, gamble free the money will come again and please enjoy it.
After all you earnt it.
Well done your focus is inspiring.
Duncs stepping forward never back.
DAY 15
Thanks Duncan I really appreciate your kind words. For me thus far something has clicked maybe the anti-depressants have kicked in, maybe I needed them all along just to give me a boost. Seriously I haven't had any down days in 10 days now since taking my medication, so happy.
Just had a chilli con carne and am going to enjoy a quiet, lazy night in, the weather's no good.
No gambling thoughts so very content right now.
Fantastic progress, you are on the way!!!!!!!
Keep it up, the YOU will be the winner, not some faceless, greedy, company that has nor care for you.

Wilsy,
I think we are very similar in the way that we think and act in our recovery. I like the fact that we are on the same number of days and long may this continue. I would love to be on the same days as you weeks and months from now.
Tomso.
DAY 17
Still gamble free and feeling good.
Watched my team get a 2-2 draw with Leeds yesterday which was a cracking game. Feel we lost two points but with 10 minutes to go to come from behind and grab a draw was better than a defeat.
Spent last night with my girlfriend, we got on really well. Had an Indian takeaway and watched a film and today is a relaxed lazy day. Life is getting better, long may it continue.
Great to hear mate. Keep staying strong and believing in yourself
Hey Wilsey,
Well done on your continued soberity. Thanks for the words of encouragement on my diary. You stay strong also.

DAY 18
Thanks Cardcue and Chicagoguy, I will check in on your diaries soon.
Today has been a good day at work, bit hacked off with this snow, they've not put down salt anywhere!
No gambling thoughts, feeling strong.
Keep up the great work, as someone who is going through the same issue i get motivation from reading your progress.
DAY 19
The days are stacking up. 🙂
All is fine with me. My job is proving to be difficult and a tad boring, only time will tell how things pan out but it's a job.
Hi Wilsy
Much like yourself well done on getting to day 19. I am going to take Duncans advice with the blocks it's about time I listened to someone.
Michael
take care well done
DAY 20 done and dusted. All clear my end, a normal day which is what I like.
Thanks Michael mate for your comments, blocks will help but will power is the main one, I can always travel to gamble and handing over large sums of money is very important if you can. Cheers pal.
Wilsy,
Thanks for the message. Things are O.K. for me. Had a tough day but things can't always be rosy. I hope everything goes well with the new job. I trust the new car is doing its job and there is no problems there.
Tomso.
DAY 21 Done
Hi Tomso, funny you asked about the new car mate. I've had it two weeks and it's filthy because of the snow and this morning I went outside to find someone had ripped the side mirror off by driving too fast or like a ******.
Please you are okay, I know what you mean by tough days but keep going mate, do this together eh?
Job better tiring though, I've not had any gambling thought which is brilliant
Affected by gambling?
