Yo,
Thank you for the post on my tread .
You sound upbeat and determined which can only put a massive smile on my face 🙂
Have you swopped fishing for footy , no more lakes and bottles of red wine . More like a burger and beer on the terraces .lol
100 in slight mate !
So keep on keeping on

DAY 81
Thanks Castle and Shiny. Yes Castle, I'll be at Wembley, bought myself and a mate two £64 tickets, third most expensive with £36 being the cheapest so good seats. Can't quite believe how well we played last night and I can't wait until Bank Holiday Monday, going to be immense win or lose I don't care. Yes Shiny not enough money to fish and watch football but sure the rods will come out soon, when the football season.
Been a very long day today and shattered as didn't go to bed until 2.00am. The football is another expense I can't afford so can't save anything at the moment but at least I'm on the straight and narrow and not gambling
Wilsy,
Delighted for you ref the score last night. I hope you have a magnificent day at Wembley. What a goal the second was absolutely brilliant. Hope to see Palace get a win. Enjoy.
Tomso.
Well done mate on the continued abstinence from gambling, r
Days really start to add up, keep up the brilliant work mate
Well done Wilsy don't know what to wish for with Palace as sometimes the Premiership is a poisoned chalice and takes all the good out of a football club but go on hope you win.
Andy,
My friend that last post was great to read, you have formed order in to your life again, you hold the reigns again, hope you get to enjoy the final from a decent seat, I will be rooting for you.
Well done my friend well done.
Duncs stepping forward never back.
DAY 82
Thanks Tomso, Mr Woody, Michael and Duncs, I'll post you all back individually.
It feels great to have control again and the football has been a great distraction. This season has been incredible and red n blue, runs through my veins it really does. Work is going well, they are happy with me, money is tight but I don't worry about that anymore. I am 18 days from a century of days gambling free, which will be a massive achievement. Family and life is with the girlfriend is very much improved and I am laughing again. I sure am determined to keep putting 100% effort into not gambling.
Thanks guys, I will have a great ticket at Wembley and I know what you mean Michael, but £120million to just be in the premier league, would change any club but our passion will never change. There is something very magical about our club, which you'll only understand if you support them.
DAY 83 completed.
Nothing to report, a quiet normal day, which is fine by me.
DAY 84
& It's Friday. Going for some Fish 'n' chips and having a peaceful night.
DAY 85
Been and had my haircut and had a McDonalds. Walked past an old bookie haunt which I am not barred in, but didn't give it a second thought and walked straight past. Feeling strong.
That's great news Wilsy - you have coe a long way and are surging ahead in your gamble free life.
Take care and remain strong in your commitment.
Feb.
Andy.
My friend your resolve deepens, not so long ago you wouldn't have thought twice.
My advice go there and self exclude.
Why??
Because it will be another victory for Andy.
Fella i am so proud.
Inspired.
Duncs stepping forward never back.
DAY 87
Thanks Feb and Duncan for your continued support. I will go and self-exclude Duncan, next time I go and have a hair cut as it is miles away and I will take my photo with me.
Yesterday (Day 86) went relaxingly, did B*****r all basically, just the way I like and because I am skint.
Today work was smooth, didn't feel as tired today as I normally do on Mondays, now home waiting for dinner.
DAY 88
At work, don't feel too motivated today, very sleepy after a deep, deep sleep. Facing day 88 head-on, only 12 days after today before I reach the first bench-mark of 100 days. Come on!!!
Very, very skint but am I bothered, not really!
Hey Wilsy
just read through the whole of your diary (its one of my mini goals to read a diary a day), wow! just wanted to say well done on your determination and courage to stick on this journey. I know its been a rollercoaster for you but its really encouraging and inspiring for me to read other people's stories and I'm grateful that your posts have been so honest and that you've kept posting even when you had a slip up. Just wanted to say well done on 88 days- its such a great achievement, I wish you all the best.
