Day 96 - Still gamble free and 4 days off the big un! 🙂

Thanks for your posts guys and girls, really much appreciated and thanks Duncan, I did have an amazing seat at Wembley and had one of the best days of my life.

Still can't believe little old Palace are back in the Premier league with an injection of cash. So pleased I also purchased next seasons season ticket back in Jan, for £435, god knows what they'll go up to.

I'm a realist and I personally don't feel we've got what it takes to stay up but I'm going to enjoy the ride and we just need to try and finish above the likes of Hull, Cardiff, maybe Norwich, Southampton, Villa and WBA, anything is achievable we're all proving that ourselves on this site.

I said to my mate after the game who has known about my problems, that it hasn't been easy but I generally believe the hard work I am putting in, my life is turning itself around, and by winning the football, that was a little gift from God, to give me inspiration that life can be enjoyable again away from gambling.

4 days now until I reach the big 100 and I'm going to grab it with both hands!

Regards the football above that lot from down the road is where i want to see the mighty eagles.

Thanks for the post, with honesty its through this forum that my glass is half full, each day fella we are all in the same boat, we all have a choice to make.

Our pounds have true value today

lets keep it that way.

The greatest thing is here we have no competition we are all equal.

Da 97 done

Quiet day at work today and on the way home I had an urge to gamble. The thought just came into my head for a moment that I get paid tomorrow and how it would be enjoyable to draw £50 out to play with. I soon got my head clear and dismissed it, shrugged it off. Just goes to show those thoughts can resurface at anytime and must always remain on guard.

100 days, I am coming for you 🙂

Day 98

Two days until the big one.

Pleased it is the weekend. Parents told me that when they go to France tomorrow, they are more likely to be staying away for 4 months! This is a massive test for me and I'm determined I will be okay. When I next see them, I will hopefully be 7 months gamble free.

Night in with a film tonight and a bag of popcorn 🙂

DAY 99 DONE

Been having lots of urges today, maybe that's because a) been paid b) parents have gone away and c) being so close to 100 days. Must remain on guard, going to bed in a bit, then new day tomorrow with less gambling thoughts hopefully.
