Well it's day 1 and I'm nearly finishing work, all I've thought about is what could of spent money on etc so as u can imagen not been a nice day and when your daughter rings u and can't answer because as soon as u see her name on screen can't hold back the tears of letting her down, I nearly told my gf about my addiction before but something stoped Me and I felt really embrassed, all my family and friends no but I can't let her no, we are both geting a house together, a new build next may so I've said to her can I put all my waged and bills in her bank and she is fine with it, I think this is a good step to helping me quit gambleing, has anybody else done something like this, thanks alot

Hi Pol

Well done on your current progress, try and keep yourself busy where possible so you don't have time for gambling.

Good luck, keep writing!

Be strong and enjoy the guilt free days of not gambling. Don't think you can control it as like me you are a compulsive gambler. Look to the future and put it behind you, keep alert and switched on. It won't be easy at times but just think of your darkest days when you think about having that one bet.

Well done on getting through the first tough 2 days.

Just take one day at a time with everything, and be kind to YOU now.
