Hi tears,

Weird thoughts can't hurt you unless you act upon them, and with 44 days of hard work, I know you will stay positive and strong, even though you are not well, 44 days is great going.

Have a good rest today, and wake up tomorrow fighting fit lol.

Take care

Suzanne xx

45 days today

Just been to the dentist which was painless enough, got to have 2 crowns and 2 root canals and I'm not sure whether they are tying to fleece me! Again, NHS issues!

I've had a letter to say I've been accepted for a residential course at the Gordon Moody Association. However it's just not possible as I need to work. Gave them a call to let them know. Must only be a select amount of people that can afford to have up to 12 weeks off work.

Back to work tomorrow, checked my email today and walking into some grief tomorrow! Not to worry, been through a lot worse and come out the other side!

Hey tears well done on 45 days hope your on the mend.

Just read your post and had a look at the Gordon moody association and it looks like a great opportunity for people but like you say I don't know many folk who can take 12 weeks off work seeing as most of us have big enough debts to start with.

Good luck with going back in to work tmoz.

Day 46

Certainly on the up health wise! No thoughts at all about gambling. Also no real anxiety about money which is a tad unusual...

Had about £10 in change jingling through my pockets for the last week and not spent a penny! Usually it would be burning a hole in my pocket!

Nothing really interesting to report today!

Day 47

Still got all my change in my pocket!

Feeling much better today, both physically and mentally.

Probably treat myself to a few drinks this weekend although I was going to go dry Jan my friend is emigrating and having a leaving party so bit of a one off 🙂

No thoughts of gambling, feeling huge benefits from not gambling so want to continue these feelings.

Having a bit of barren run at pool myself and the team is 8th/12 in premier league hopefully we will have a good run in the cup.

Watched the Robertson v Carter match yesterday Robertson looked very impressive n should make a good semi against Ronnie. Robertson and Allen my favs both doing well at the moment.

Have a great weekend mate

Day 48

Great sleep last night, finally feeling my old self. Playing football tomorrow and going to go to the gym tonight to make up for the beer I'm going to consume tomorrow night!

No thoughts of gambling, feeling more content just say watching TV and relaxing whereas for years I've been on edge.

Yes Taxi Man , saw the snooker last night and was disappointed for Carter, missed a few easy pots when he played so well in the previous round. Robertson and Ronnie is as good as the final I think, can't see much further passed those too although Murphy looks good and it would seem Maguire has pulled some form out of the bag. You never know though, on the day anything can happen. Scary thing is Ronnie has said he's no where near his best and he's still knocking in casual centries!

50 days mate, absolutely superb!!!! Enjoy the Masters final, I'm gutted Ronnie isn't in it. Keep up the good work and think about telling your mum, she will probably react the same way mine did, but once the shock is out the way she will calm down and be supportive and you will feel like a weights been lifted.

Cheers mate, had to check your diary to confirm it was 50 as not been on in a couple of days!

Day 50

Hungover today after several beers yesterday and looking forward to spending the day watching snooker. Dissapointing the Rocket isn't in but he's admitted he's way off his game as he's not been playing all the tournaments the rest of the guys are playing. Shame really as he is a joy to watch!

No desire to gamble although put £2 on a football card where proceeds went to our football team so just saw it as a donation and didn't even ask if I had won. Fruit machines in the pub weren't drawing me in either. In fact last time I went in the pubs I was in last night I remember wasting most of the night watching the dazzling lights!

Thanks Suzanne.

Day 51

Working from home today which would always be a nice excuse to have a little flutter.

Had a vivid dream of playing a FOBT last night, winning of course 🙂 Remember being dissapointed with myself in the dream but happy I'd won.

Just about to go to the dentist and try get the car off the street which is like an ice rink at the moment!

Day 53

Still avoiding gambling quite easily. Have a little cash in my bank after selling some electronics I don't use, putting it towards buying more electronics! What I want is £79 and I had £76 in my bank yesterday, thought about gambling to make up the £3! Decided to wait which has been difficult for me in the past, very impatient usually so that is a good sign.

Looks like I might have an interview for a job I applied for, they've asked my availability for interviews and my current salary. If I don't get invited for an interview I can assume it's due to my salary.

Payday on 30th which can't come soon enough, spent the money in my head already even though I owe it all out!

Oh and eating healthy is bloody difficult!

A lot of snow at home but none at work, only 10 miles between but where I live is a bit higher up.

No thoughts of gambling. No thoughts of winning big.

Another day another dollar!
