Sorry to here that , I'm sure his confused about why you gamble and all thoughts are running through his mind .

I really think you should start your own diary as lots of others with similar circumstances can help and advice you , as my diary shows my ex was completely different and I am still getting through a separation with difficulties so I really am not the best person to help you about your husband but others are .

I will of course support you the best that i can though

I am a little concerned! You go from smiling to chuckling and the recovery is going so well I just have this fear one day you will come on in an uncontrollable fit of laughter which you cannot stop lol!!

Seriously though I think your recent posts are ones of real inspiration to many of us. Yes you have ups and downs as we all do but reading your diary you can really see the change not gambling has made in your life. I am finding I cannot fix everything yet, but by not gambling at least I am in a position to have ago at fixing when I'm ready. I really sense you are in a great position and one that this smiling, chuckling Lucy won't be letting go of in a hurry.

Huge well done for your continuing success in fighting off this addiction.

Been thinking about the different Lucy's and this is what I came up with

Sad , angry , frustrated , skint, feeling utter despair and failure = gambling Lucy

Smiling , laughing , happy , contented , peaceful , excited , got money , socialising , just d**n right ok with life = Non gambling Lucy

No contest is there ? !

I much prefer this one 🙂

Sounds good to me. Just be really careful as this demon jumps out when we least expect it. Not trying to put a downer on things but I used to kid myself I am now in control etc. For now enjoy the good feeling and long may it last. Sure beats lying and cheating our way out of a hole!

No thoughts of gambling at all and that's how it will stay!

No chance to gamble here and am just going to chill , clear the head and come back next weekend just as determind as ever

Won't have much chance to post as will be on the fells so will post to others next weekend

Imagine how many times harder it would be to climb the fells mentally if you wer still gambling infact you probably wouldnt be any where near cumbria this week if you wer still gambling.

So this is a big reward 4 getting over 90 days and digging deep when requirded a day at a time.
