will do borro,

recieved my debit card , i knew before it came i would not use it

but when it arrived i could not believe that within a few hours , i felt a little like using it , i basically felt tempted, thought do i need to destroy this one , But not used it and wont not for gambling anyway , my girlfriend offered to look after it which is nice to know if i needed her to ,but after another few hours of temptation, thinking about it not gambling just the fact that i was tempted and thinking why when ive felt ok up until getting the card , i then thought again how stupid and pointless gambling is , so dont know why i automaticaly felt tempted when getting card but managed to exdinguish this temptation very quickly . Then checked email and had a few new offers sent by these rediculous sites in my spam , and even had one sent to my main in box , so i politley swore and told them to go away .

Think temptation came when getting card as last time i had card thats just what i would do with it , gamble that is , so i suppose its just the force of habbit .

Hey ho no gamble for ages now got card no temptations to use it anymore saving money as im not wasting money on gambling which feels fxcking great , all the best everyone

ye all ok boro thanks for asking , pretty good actually , my dads 80th party yesterday and me and my 3 siblings bought him and my mom a balloon ride ticket , well it was great to be able to buy this without thinking about the money , which I didn't need to as enough spare as have not gambled for what feels like a good long while now , hurray lol. was tidying up at home Saturday and as I was I found some old pieces of scrap paper , which when looking closer I realised it was scribbles of numbers and amounts and systems for when I used to play roulette which I used to remind myself what system to play ect... you know one of the ones that cannot loose , or rather one of those that wins for a week or 2 but is always guaranteed to fail bigstyle eventually. Anyway POINT , well when finding this paper it made me remember that well that really horrible feeling of pannic of addiction of fear of not being able to stop gambling of not being able to forget the losses of worry of not being able to think straight of confusion of feeling unbalanced ect . ect. ect.

Well binned the paper and put a smile on my face knowing how far I have come from that time , and glad that I could kick it , hope everyone doing great

still feel like theres some kind of time gap that I still need to fill, the time left from when I used to gamble but now I don't , weirdly I always have plenty of things to catch up with at home or work, but catching up on that stuff is pretty boring ecspecially housework ect... don't get me wrong I have no intention of gambling again , but still just need to get used to using the old gambling time that I used to spend gambling need to get used to using that time for something more constructive , this site is a bigger help than I thought, just to have somewhere to come to write my thoughts to let go of all the s**t that stopping gambling brings no matter how long its been since my last gamble

what a P***k I have been today and yesterday , in the last 2 days I have lost/wasted 200 , really thought I had closed the door on my gambling , same main thing again roulette online , think it will annoy me tomorrow more , financially I am in a good position now , and don't want to go back to where I once was , but think as I have spare cash that seems to be part of the problem , I have now self excluded from this other site , I made 3 deposits in total , 10 then another 50 then another 140 , I very nearly selfexcluded after the 50 but like a d**k thought no I would win that back and the 10 with another 140 I deposit , I actually did but you know what happens win , win some more then loose the lot as I couldn't walk away .

I still fee quite good in myself as after loosing the 200 I went straight on the computer and selfexcluded when I could of bet a lot more , so I don't think I have let it get that hold on me again although I know I will be tempted shortly again , part of the problem was the fact that it was even easier this time to gamble as my new I phone was so easy to use while walking round gambling also very easy to hide the fact that your gambling while in the same room as somebody , as they just assume your texting , luckily I can cope with the 200 but I am still very disappointed in myself loosing it , it has made me remember though why not to gamble as not just the money but the way I started to feel in just 2 days , getting impatient leaving other stuff that needed doing acting sneaky , my thought process changed and the amount of hours wasted gambling on my phone while at work at home at my mom and dads , even thought of driving along while doing it , ect... but after loosing 200 I realised quite quickly this is pointless, well going to do my upmost best not to go there again , as I don't want to be a looser all my life , don't know how long I went before without gambling , who knows who cares , I just need not to gamble everyday , well all the best everyone , onwards and upwards

Tryer

Fella I admire your honesty, it will serve you well in the days to come.

Can you not block your phone from accessing gambling sites completely rather than self excluding idividually as it seems a new site opens every day.

Funny I have never gambled on my phone or the internet but have a very simple phone now by choice,it is amazing how much more free time I gift myself by having no internet access,I did say to the wife I may upgrade to one with a camera again one day lol.

Be positive, learn from your latest episode

For me the words of the honorable robbie box most apt

GAMBLING IS A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME!!!

Abstain and maintain

Duncs stepping forward never back
