Congratulations on the 7 month mark mate. I can fully understand that you hardly feel that you were ever a cg--I feel the same but then again most of the time I was gambling I did not think I was a cg then either!!!

All the best

Hi Jeff

I take my hat off to you sir....its quite amazing to see how far you have come...i think your story will always stay with me...the tough times gambling put you through! Superb to see you doing so well

Just a thought..do you think your golf has improved as you dont have gambling/losses/stress/odds/meetings/etc..etc running through your mind 24/7.

Take care buddy and keep up the great work.

Hi Jeff,

Nice one with the golf mate. I went round in a modest 96 the other day, not as good as yourself Tiger, but improving. And I totally agree that, the £10 it cost me for an early evening round was far better than the hundreds I could have spent in the bookies.

Fantastic news that your at 7 months now mate, keep it up!!

Stay Strong

Steve

Hi Jeff

Thought I pop in and see how you are doing...very well by the look of things. Well Done on 7 months..who would have thought... when I first stopped and saw people in my group who had stopped for 5 and six years, I thought..o*g..I have to do this for the rest of my life???

Along the way I have learned a lot and am still learning every day... I believe I will not go back to gamlbing, I believe you will not go back to gambling... because you and I are keeping open minded and honest...

Be proud of your achievements as I am proud of your achievements.

God Bless

Sabine x

Hi Jeff,

Congrats on the 7months and the improvements in your golf game. Hard lines to Man City on not making the Champs League but i'm sure they will get there next season.

Keep up the good work Jeff.

Hi Jeff, thanks for the post. I'm not posting much these days but when I do its good to see guys like yourself reading and acknowledging.

I'm by no means out of debt by the way, that will take another 4 and a half years ! But at least not being in debit on my current account is a hint of light and gives me a bit of confidence.

Well done on your own continued recovery and 7 months clean and your constant advice and support to others.

Hi Jeff

How are you?

Thank you for posting in my diary, I feel a lot better knowing that it doesn't matter how long or how much we loose gambling.

Well done to you for 8 months gambling free.

What birds do you have?

I've taken this saying from a fello cg and it does help when I say it out loud to yourself, especially when I get the urge.

I CAN NEVER LOSE AGAIN IF I DO NOT START AGAIN.

Keep up the good work.

More teas with the missis, LOL! 🙂

Lots of golf, cheap in comparison!

Best wishes

Celia
