My stress, anxiety and guilt free check in! 3pm on a Saturday and I have not even thought about gambling!

Usually have plenty of money on by now!

Unexpected challenge tonight. It's a friends birthday and everyone is off to the casino. I will be joining them. I will not be gambling tonight.

Didn't end up going Casino. Felt strong enough to go and not gamble if we did though. Always wary of urges when I've had a few drinks.

Day 55 done and dusted yesterday though. 8 weeks today...and time is starting to fly now.

Thanks to Tess for the check in challenges yesterday, big help on a Saturday afternoon.

Well done on keeping your guard up last night. It would be easy to get complacent after a good gamble free period like you've had. You've clearly got the strength for this battle though and it gives me a lot of inspiration to keep going for the long haul, not just for a few weeks at a time like i have in the past.

Another weekend down and maybe the first without any real urges at all. Tonight I have been moving the pots indoors from the garden ready for the storm! It's meant to get bad down this way In England. Quite excited haha.

The storm meant working from home for me yesterday. 9 weeks ago I would've sat at home, got the races, football, tennis, argentinia basketball, North African volleyball on...you get the message. The day would've been used as a betting day. I didn't even think about betting and managed to get a productive day of work done. Working hard basically means more commission. No bettongs = money. No betting = more work done = more money!

What a great circle!

Good effort today mate.

I work from home fairly often and it always used to be a big gambling day. Inevitably ended up badly, plus the additional stress that comes after not actually having done any work for a day! Since i quit I've managed 2 days working from home and been completely focused and got loads done.

Hope the storm didn't hit you too badly. Keep up the outstanding work.
