Well what a way to celebrate my first week gambling free in a long while. Got an email from a casino stating that after reviewing my account they notice I had self exclude from one if their sister sites and as such they were closing my accounts and refunding all my deposits, over £2000 worth! All the deposits were during December so before I commited to quit again. Really have to commend their attitude to problem gamblers although they still aren't my favourite people. Just have to be sensible with that money and use it to pay off debts.

Feel like this is a good day. Might go for a run.

Hi new start,

Wow, certainly is something to celebrate won't say lucky you lol, but I will say jammy you lol.

Stay strong when it hits your account, The addiction loves it when you suddenly have a lot of spare unexpected cash,

Thank you NT.

Went out last night and didn't gamble. Woke feeling guilty and had a bit of a panic but then realised it was because I'd had a chicken fried rice on the way home and I'm supposed to be on a diet. Still gambling free.

Thanks Suzanne. I've made some big changes to my life and habits to get here but the biggest help has probably been the Gamcare forum. Lovely comments from wonderful people like yourself really give me the strength to keep struggling and never give in to gambling again. I owe everything I have to you guys. There's no way I could've gotten here without you.

Never taken a look at your diary Simon and boy do you remind me of myself or hopefully the old me! You have smashed the ar*e out of January and that is a fine achievement. Temptation is all around us and I have to think ahead all the time to ensure I'm not left in the wrong place at the wrong time. I can see that you have made massive strides in 2015 and I want you marching at my side all year beating this nasty addiction. Keep up the good work mate!
