Day 35 - 5 Weeks.

Peace and harmony quickly resumed once more (wish I could say the same about work)!! Still, I couldn't manage without it!

Life is simple and emotionally peaceful. Glad I took action sooner rather than later regarding my few gambling episodes last year. I have so many other things in my life to keep me distracted and entertained. I am comfortable in my own company too so that's good!

Take care all and so will I.

Hi Feb
Thank you for your lovely post on my diary. I've just read your diary and the pattern of urges is similar to mine.
I will set my first target for 21 day's and then go from there. My problem in the past is setting unrealistic and possibly unachievable target's for someone in the early stages of abstinence.
Take care and continue to stay safe.
Rosie x

Day 49 - 7 Weeks.

Work is ever so slightly better - for how long, who knows?!!

Well, I have given up the biggest love of my life - chocolate!! Well at least for Lent anyway! I have never done it before and I wanted to give up something which I knew would be really difficult for me. I am going to reward myself with a HUGE Easter Egg on Easter Sunday though!! Can't wait!

All good on the abstinance front again. Can safely say that my "sensibe head" is fixed firmly on my shoulders and going nowhere. Pay day on Friday and I will still have money in the bank! This was one of my new mini goals I wanted to achieve approaching each pay day. Working Saturday too this week - nice little earner not to be sniffed at!

Take care all and sleep peacefully.

Day 50!

Another tiny milestone complete! Haven't had a minute to even think about gambling - not that I have any interest in wanting to either - yuk!

Take care all and so will I.

Feb - feeling shattered on "The Bright Side of the Road".
