Day 34 and sense I'm getting stronger. I'm not giving up where previously I would have caved in. I'm focusing more on the longer term implications of placing that bet rather than just focusing on the short term rush.

Hi Fella , yeah your absolutly right , why can't we all just accept were here for one cause , supposedly there's no right or wrong way but uuuuummmhh , I suppose that depends on who you talk to egh ? . and look at you sitting there taking it all in and enjoying yourself , LOL ! but as long as it distracts you from the big G and keeps you occupied buddy , I'm glad to have helped . Ha ! Ha !

Hai Change..... How's it going with you and more importantly how's it going with the Future England footie captain? who'll no doubt bring the World Cup back to these shores...

Hi Volcano... yeah he's dong good thanks. Standard ups and downs but the trend is upwards so I'm not complaining. Still very demanding. Likely to need a further operation so that's started to be discussed. Thanks for checking in pal.

Day 41 / 42. Got a bit easier for me this time as I really don't want to lose money so not prepared to risk a few hundred and get sucked into another thousand pound chase. Real tired so off for few hours kip.

Day 42 - feeling better about things. Got some money pressures as need to buy a few things for my son so thought had crossed my mind to gamble but dismissed it anyway. You look at sport results nowadays and you really realise it's a mugs game. Watford knock out Arsenal!

Really sad to see and hear that a few close friends have left the forum - big al and GT. Hopefully you'll both be back to say hi soon. I'll be thinking about you both.

Just ticked into day 46. I feel better about my situation right now. Best I've felt for a while. Just need to stay focused. I could actually make this work this time and I don't want to mess that up.

Day 47 - hi emily - no idea what happened to be / she. Bit gutting to see good people move on especially when I don't know the back story.
