Another crazy thought today. Pay day and first month I'm paying all bills as Mrs only getting reduced statutory mat leave pay. I paid everything over to joint account to cover the amount we transfer for monthly bills... so essentially double as I was covering hers as well as my own contribution from this month. Turns out she got paid a bit more as pay in arrears so not just stat mat leave this month and she said I could take £400 back and she'd put that in joint account. The instant first thought I had was... gambling tokens... £400 I didn't expect so it's free to use! What a disgraceful way to think! Keep the faith.

I'm doing a lot better now and having a better time at work. I've always thought gambling made be hate my job and when I stop I can like my job. I actually think it's my job that pushed me more to gamble. Hating the days and life so escaping to gambling. I had three separate occasions where different people said really nice things about me today, 1 about their own personal development and making them aware of how to deal with an awkward situation that makes them worry 2 about finding a great opportunity and sharing it and 3 about taking the initiative to respond to a client on a tricky point. I can honestly share that other than when my wife said she'd give me £400 back (earlier post) I haven't really thought about gambling today.

Hello me old mate !, I'm ok thanks . Just finished watching that first episode of Making a murderer that eveyone's raving about !

I haven't got netflix or anything but just typed it in on line and all the episodes came up , it looks like a good watch !

Glad to see your back in the zone mate and its great to see that you pushed through a crrappy time and emerged a lot stronger ,were all guilty of using gambling as an escape , none more than me my friend and I think when we stop and have to start dealing with real life and situations that arise it can be tough ?, but then again , no one said it was easy !

Great to have you around again buddy !

Keep positive !

Had another urge today when a lad said Murray was 2-1 down in sets I checked his odds on my phone. Couldn't act on it as was in work but it was coming up to lunchtime... I couldn't have acted on it in bookies either as couldnt withdraw enough cash to make it worthwhile. So the urge faded. But I think it highlights (a) how sports comes into day to day life and impacts and (b) how barriers are essential for me. I wasn't even annoyed that Murray won as I know that any winning would have been going on the weekend sports. Keep the faith and keep gamble free.

Was really happy to see kerber beat Serena. She's a player who I have rated for 5 years or so. Have to admit it was weird to hear she'd won and I hadn't watched it and even more so that I hadn't bet on it. Still gamble free and keeping the faith. Watched take me out with the mrs and gunna watch the boxing tonight.
