I've managed to stay away from gambling and alcohol thru the whole christmas period even tho i've been off work. I think thats cause for celebration. Just about to have a cup of tea and mini roll in celebration. Merry christmas one and all.

in a reflective mood tonight, gues Christmas day is a big day for reflection. What am I trying to achieve, what do I want, what can I do to help, the answer is I don't know. I spent early life trying to pass exams, then spent mid life trying to keep jobs, do I want a partner well I guess it would be nice, but I'm used to being alone. I spend all the time at work trying to look confident and make people laugh but if makes me come across as stupid. After all Adams just the porter what else could he possibly give, they probably think I will just stay in that position on part time hours forever as I look happy.but there I am again thinking about work. Lets face it I'm just

Merry Christmas Adam. You are a man of honour and integrity blessed with a good sense of humour, inner strength and a compassionate nature. I feel honoured to travel this road alongside people like you.

It is good to reflect on things but please do not get bogged down by what you consider to be negative aspects of your life. Focus on the positives, appreciate the fine qualities you have and build on them. We are all children of the universe. My music choice for you this morning is from 1998: "One Of The People" by Adamski.

Keep blazing that trail my friend ... stephen

Thnk you stephen, yes its all about taking the positives of each day, each week and of life and living thru them, trying to forget about ur shortcomings, trying to forget about mistakes, however many uve made and enjoy life. This is important as life is a blessing. We are lucky to be on earth and a lot of people forget that, its a shame that peoles starts in life arent equal as it would be a happier place. Lets be thank ful for what we have, everyone gets down (like myself last night) but if you dont feel down then you wont feel up. Had a great day with my nephews today, they were very lucky we got them some nice presents, didnt spend a fortune but got them some nice presents and we enjoyed playing them today.... Back to work tomo enough said lol

Keep on top of your game bro.

You're candid soul searching and honest reflection are a powerful tool in your recovery. You're honest with yourself and your feelings and this will protect you as you continue to move forward. Keep doing this mate.

You've come so far... Why not go further and further eh? What left for you in the back streets - youve been there already... It's full of pain and heartache... Keep pushing towards pastures new. Some great support and advice on your diary. You are a highly revered individual and you should take ownership of that mate. Keep going.
