Hey Steve,

First off thanks for your post when my laziness got the better of me over recent weeks, and congratulations on bagging the 5 months gamble-free. I agree that the first month was the hardest, by now there really isn't much space in my routine where gambling used to be.

Hope things get sorted out for you better this Thursday than the first time around.

All the best mate,

Ryan

Steve--with all the muck you are having to deal with--5 months is a fantastic achievement and you can be justifiably proud of how far you have come.

Good luck on Thursday if you have to go to court.

All the best

Hi Steve,

HIGH FIVE!!!!

5 months, that is really fantastic work, my friend.

If you can do this while you have such frustrations bubbling away, you can do it anytime eh? Lovely to read your post about seeing your nephews 🙂

take care,

f x

Hi Steve,

Cheers for the post mate and hearty congratulations on 5 months without a bet.

The golf was a bit of a damp squib in the end. I thought Oosty would *** as well but nobody got near enough to put the pressure on. I think it might have been a different story if Casey had not whacked it into the gorse on 12 the muppet!

Hope things go well in court next week mate.

Onwards and Upwards.

Hi All,

A mixed bag of a day today. Went to see my mate who's got cancer and he's had some great news lately. His specialist seems to think that the cancer has gone. He's got to have a small operation in a few weeks but should be back on form in a few months!! He really is a true inspiration.

On a slightly negative note, my court case has been adjourned until next month to give my ex more time to sort the mortgage transfer. 12 months isn't apparently enough!!

Anyway, it will all come to a head next month, one way or another.

Time for positivity now I think.

Mantente Fuerte

Steve

Great news for your mate Steve,he must be very happy and of course relieved....one thing i'm sure of is that he will see life differently from here on in!!!.Bad luck re the adjournment,it seems to be really dragging on for you on that score.Hope the guitar is coming along nicely as well as the Spanish.

I see that donny have given a trial to Joel Grandison(Cov acadamy lad released at the end of last season).Stay strong.

Seano.

Hi Steve,

I'm going to struggle with the top 3 Tom Hanks movies. I've always had this illogical hatred of Tom Hanks! I'll go for the following:

1. Big

2. The Green Mile

3. Catch me if you Can

I've seen your Tom Hanks mate and i will raise you Kevin Costner:

1. Dances with Wolves

2. Tin Cup

3. JFK

I think i will have to dust a few dvd's down at the weekend!

Hi Steve,

well done on maintaining a positive attitude, when it comes to your ex and the court stuff. You have no control over it, so you've let it go which I think is great. Its easy to say, but difficult to do.

I imagine having a friend living with cancer kind of makes you realise that there is far tougher things to sweat over in life. I admire your positive outlook as I myself have a low frustration threshold! something which im trying to change.

Anyway, hope you have a good rest of the week.

Take care,

f x

Hi Guys,

Sorry for not posting but i've been really busy with work and a charity event we have just done which I was in charge of. Well worth it though as we raised over 600 quid for Marie Curie.

Thanks for your continued support, it really is welcome.

I'm finally on holiday from work this week and I really need it. Gonna take my mam down to London to see a show this weekend as I reckon she needs a break as well.

Still gamble-free, but simply haven't had time lately, but with this week off have got more than ample time. Will have to be on my guard.

Stay Strong

Steve
