Day 58

Great day at work- nothing special happened, I just enjoyed it!

Still not feeling 100%, headaches persist so no jogging yet (any excuse!). Have planned my 1st badminton session for tomorrow and a wee bit apprehensive- build more for comfort than speed!!!

Nothing more to report on the gambling front- happy to say I've not been bothered by urges or thoughts for past couple of days.

I've been wondering why I've not heard about my volunteering application that I did several weeks ago.....apparently I need to upload a CV, it would've been nice if they'd told me that!

Me n the padster's having a cosy wee night- DVD I think!

Day 59- Yes really 59!!!!

Everything in my world is good atm- I hope this continues. Not perfect, but good!

The leak saga continues- neighbour had another leak which found its way into my light fixtures (luckily b4 the previous damage was fixed!) Wish it would leak in another room- I could do with a whole house makeover!

After the joys of THE bank statement, got annual credit card statement today- o*g!! there it is in black and white, the amount I've squandered on one card on "leisure and entertainment" (2 more to arrive), Och well, it's done, cant be undone and wont be done again. I hope all the minions at the online casinos got a good Christmas bonus!

Badminton tonight was hilarious- 2 not so fit, middle aged women puffing and peching for an hour. We laughed for most of the hour- booked for Monday!! The wee boy at the counter must've thought we were bonkers as we tried to blag an "older lady's" discount.

On the whole, a good day. The rubbish stuff's outwith my power so refuse to let it worry me 🙂

The positivity in that last post really shines though (apart from that persistent leak of course. I had to laugh at the women at your badminton lol.

Well the big 60 tomorrow and way to go.

Little by little them bills get smaller and you'll be seeing that money grow instead of disappearing to pay em off. Yup something to look forward too.

just a flyer to say im catching your posts on others diaries and i'm also sending you my best on your 60th day...

I normally dont post unless people post to me as im on the other side and for some i know my diary makes painful reading and also can bring a lot of anger up and people stay clear of me ....so just to say I do read others posts and am also on my recovery journey as you all are on here ..
