3 little months

While being 3 months gamble free might not seem like a "success story", I feel like I'm through the worst of it.

I have gambled on and off for ten years but this time I really feel like I've turned a corner. I think this is the longest I've not gambled in maybe six years? And I feel absolutely amazing.

My finances have improved, I've even started SAVING money. More than that, my mental health has improved. I'm focussing on things that matter in life and I honestly can't remember the last time I've been tempted to gamble. I am proud to say that although the majority of my twenties were taken over by gambling, I have not gambled in my 30s (turned 30 in November.)

I highly recommend Gamstop for helping transform my life. I've also worked on building a completely different relationship with money and myself. Focussing on a healthy body and mind is so beneficial, do things that make you happy, do things that are productive and don't give in to the monster that is gambling! There were so many times where I felt like there was no way out but there was and there is for you too.

The high I used to get from playing on my favourite sites is now replaced by the high of being able to take my kids on days out and seeing my savings build. While I cannot say 100% I will never gamble again, that is my aim. Thank you so much to everyone who commented on my posts or helped me during my worst struggles, I wish you all recovery because it's pretty awesome.
