Well done Adam. Good to read a success story. I too am thinking that I have to kick my drinking habit to fully move on from gambling. The two definitely aren't a good mix together! Keep racking up the gamble free days.
Update time, between my birthday in may and Nov 2019 I spent 140 pounds on gambling. Before that i was on 250 days of not gambling. Ivecalso been tee total and smoke free although this is not now difficult to maintain. Then from 2 Dec 2019 till now I've been tee total and gamble free, horray. I'm aiming to celebrate on new years this year with my first full gamble free year in a long time...I'll celebrate in my own way with a night in listening to music on rely and I might buy a rocket to set off at midnight!!!! Anyone can do this I was terrible for years.... I'm glad I didn't get into debt and my mental health is in good order. I also frequent the gym and play football to keep healthy.... This helps me sleep..,. I believe sleep is important.... Let's do this I will update every 100 days.
update time, im still gamble free since the lst post, im up to 110 days gamble free horray. Corona virus has come and impacted everyones lives dramatically, hopefully we can get thru it with as few lives lost as possible. With this in mind gambling my money away is the last thing on my mind. I've recently dislocated my shoulder and as a result am at home in order to recover. I was going back to work after two weeks off this coming Monday but my manager said with coronavirus its best for me to isolate until 14th april then go back. I should get paid for this and as I work in a private hospital this is currently a quiet time with vulnerable customers not wanting to have operations at this time and rather staying isolated instead. all the best im hoping to make it to the 150 day mark next so will update then. All the best adam xx

up to day 340 and i have gambled 16 pounds In this time, I know I have gambled but I still consider this a success story. The only gambling ive done is 6 pound pub poker games recently which is all about entertainment rather than making money. I know its a slippery slop so ill be super careful. Looking forward to the twelth of August when ill celebrate the year mark even tho I've gambled ive changed my whole mindset. To make it clear ive got a spreadsheet of all my spending since 2015, and purely on everything spent after bills paid 2016 over 8000, 2017 5600 pounds, 2018 3000, and 2019 1200 pounds, ive not smoked or drunk all year or gambled and that's the difference its made.
Looking back at what I used to spend scares me......2016 8k on socializing 700 pounds a month.....it was complete madness. This year I've spent 700 in the year!!!!! How times have changed.....long may this run continue ...... All the best Adam xxx
